Well, the pain is slowly getting better. I took a few days off while I was doing support for Chris at Cascade. My foot started feeling much better, so I went for a couple rides. The ride last Friday consisted of a few hard efforts, and the next day my foot was much worse. I took another couple days off and it started feeling better again.
I’m finally back in Eugene and went to visit Gilad who said I should buy Super Feet insoles. So, $40 later, I have Super Feet. I have been riding for the last three days and my foot is still feeling pretty good, so that’s good. Today was my first day with the insoles in. I could definately tell a difference in the support on my feet…but my toes hurt a little..>I’m not quite sure what that means.
In the mean while I am going to amp it up a little bit tomorrow. I’ve got some major TT-ing to do and some long rides in store to be training for these races coming up. I’m pretty excited because I found out that a few races coming up have the Cat 3’s scored seperately which could mean some points for me! Finally!!!!
With the foot thing, I’m just going to have to really pay attention to when I’m hurting more and to have patience on the bike. FRUSTRATING I TELL YOU!!!!!!!!! FRUSTRATING! Don’t ever get plantar faciitis.
